Must add -> had the old 5:30 pm deadline today, went in at 8:00 am, set up
QuickPass and hoped it would fly so that I could get the remaining 1800 frames
(6 segments) + fadeins and holds to tape before FexEx left me in the
dust…..well, WOW! Two hours per segment reduced to about 10 minutes. Out
only hold up was transferring files form one machine to the other.
This may have been the best money spent in out office in a while. My only
complaint is that I can't get an rom bios upgrade for the old DQ422+ card
without buying another package. With the dongle and all, how would I use it on
both systems at the same time? Using "FastWire" or DAT tape to move files from
the old DQ422+ system to the new is almost as frustrating as watching 300
prerolls.
By the way…we got the tape in the box at 5:28 pm. Familiar?
