I've got CP Tools for DOS v7.0. Recently, some crashing programs under WinNT
caused WinNT's 'chkdsk' to run, which I believe marked some sectors as "bad" in
my FAT partitions that actually are not bad. This has eaten several megs on
two partitions, and I want the space back. CP Tools tells me there's nothing
wrong with these "bad" sectors.
Can someone tell me a way, short of backup / format / restore, that will revive
these sectors? I checked the CPT manual but didn't see anything under "bad
sectors" or "sectors" that seemed relevant.
