I am looking to replace my 24-bit dot matrix printer with a color InkJet printer. Can anyone give me a recommendation/warning about specific printers that they have used? Specific info that would be of great help include text quality, greyscale and color graphics quality, speed, best printer drivers to use, best street price, and cost of printhead/ink refills. Some models that I am currently considering include the HP DeskJet series (500C, 550C, and 560C) and Canon BubbleJet series. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. -Sent with AutoPilot!!!- -Albert-

> . . . HP DeskJet (500C, 550C, and 560C) and Canon BubbleJet These appear to be good choices. I have a Deskjet 500C. A friend of mine likes his BubbleJet. The 500C is good for occasional color uses, since it is necessary to switch ink cartridges to print color or just black and white. (The HPPERIPHE forum has text files on techniques to refill ink cartridges.) Sincerely, (Mr.) Gayle Lee Fairless 'Perfessor Fearless' from the Rocket City! via AutoPilot 1.03a
