Hi All, I hate to say this but I am going to upgrade my 386/25 to an Apple PowerMac. I use 3-D Studio R2 and was wondering if any of you could recommend a Mac based product that is as powerfull and flexable as 3DSR2-3. I realy love the interface of 3D-Studio. I guess I'll keep my 386 around and upgrade to R3 later but 3D-Studio will be the only program that I will be running on it. Kinda a waste of space… Thank you, –Steven Walters 70524,634

Electric… Electric… Electric… Oh— Electric Image is a crusher. Ya need a nice set 'o other stuff… But EIAS ( Electric Image Animation System ) is a power maniacs dream tool. Find your local vendor and say " Show me the cut/paste of real world data stuff " or " render that real nice…" EIAS will make you wonder. But you will wish you had your mits on Studio in the long run. Why choose the machine, when the software is what you use? Prophetic Dr Pixel

you are nuts..they have to have 4 programs to approach anything like 3DS. I would kill for a great MAC for the color ouput but for modelling and rendering and animation – jeesh. people like Strata pro..theres another for under $1000 with a modeler and renderrrrrrrrer i forget the name will look it up. Sculpt looks interesting, don't know anybody using it alot. Alot of people like Formz for modeling then go into Electric Image for Architectural. But $?
