#Human Figures to move
6 messages in this thread
Could I get peoples' votes for best economical, fully-animatable human figure.
I need to animate an unclothed androgynous or male figure falling down and
having a seizure, and also one getting dizzy, clutching stomach, and vomiting
(what fun!). I am more concerned with the potential for realistic movement than
realistic human features or skin movement, since the figure will be rendered
semitransparent to show internal organs. Our main bucks will have to go mainly
for Viewpoint brain and spinal cord (unless someone out there is offering
anatomically accurate, economically competitive alternatives).
Thanks in advance.

Check out Imagination Works at (408)395.5211 – Tom and Helena(?) Knight. Their
meshes are anatomically correct, fully poseable, clothed or nude, with full
heirarchy and pivot points established.
David –
I already called and talked to Helena – sounds like their model may be just
what we need. Thanks for the suggestion.

Gayle,
I don't know if you got the message from "JT" from Viewpoint, but we are sole
distributors of the Knight's data. Give me a call at 1-800-328-2738 and we can
talk some more about the data that you need. Note that their Datasets come
with pivot points, clothes, and textures and are in the 50th percentile of
average people. I would be happy to hear from you.

Gayle,
Tom and Helene are now marketing their human models thru Viewpoint, and I don't
think that the price will be a problem. Call Viewpoint at 801-224-2222 ( or
800-DATASET ). Ask for Casey Johnson if he's available. If not, anyone in
Sales should be able to help.
