Is it possible that anyone can tell me how to disable the "NO DIALTONE" feature from my modem. When I am using the modem to access C-serve & other BBS's I like to set my phone line to CALL DIVERSION (i.e If my phone line is busy then any incoming calls are diverted to another phone number of my choice). The trouble is that when CALL DIVERSION is set the phone exchange gives a intermittant dial tone which the modem does'nt reconise. So is there a command I can send to the modem to turn "NO DIALTONE" off. I am using a Supra Fax modem Plus V.42bps Thankyou! Try adding the AT command: X3 to your init$. X3= Dial tone detection disabled (blind dial) but still detects busy signals. X commands are the ones that control these things… check it out in your modem manual.

Michael, Thanks for the advice.I added the X3 to my init$ & it now disables the No Dial tone detection. I would have looked in the modem manual If I had one, I am still waiting for the store who supplied the modem to send me the manual. Anyway thanks again for your help.
