I picked up a Zenith ZCM-1492 Color Monitor with an IBM compattible system
recently. It is VGA compatible and supports an analog RGB color signal
and a 31.49 kHz horizontal scan and requires a 60 – 70 Hz vertical scan
refresh rate. The video connector is a 15 pin D-type male connector with
no connection on pins 9, 12 and 15. Can I use this monitor with my Amiga
500 and, if so, what kind of adapter or connector is required? Any
information related to this subject would be appreciated.

Jeff,
Those are wonderful monitors. I yearned for one of them a few years ago.
But you will need something like the FlickerFixer. Since you have a 500,
you will have to get the kind that goes under your Denise chip, and I
cannot recall the name of it at the moment. The one I have requires a
video slot, which you don't have. It's possible that you will also need a
special cable, but you won't know that until you try it.
