PMBI, but I'm curious. What does Composer do with alpha channels that the X2
extension of Painter doesn't?. I've found Painter with X2 to be absolutely
outstanding for compositing and X2 is $90 (as an add on to Painter) vs $$$ for
Composer.

I am sorry, I found painter toooo slow for me. The composer program
really rips, as for doing something other than X2, you got me. I do know that
Fractal does great software, I used to work with Hedges and Zimmer back in the
old Mac days. SO I know first hand that they make great code.
Not much help, sorry. Just know I like composer.
