I don't have an answer, but I will pass your message on to some coworkers
who might have some ideas or might want to talk to you about the problem.
We build a RISC card that plugs into a Mac and runs UNIX and do a lot of
file sharing stuff and are looking at DC6000 TAR tapes for Mac. Will try
to get you some kind of response next week.

Thanks, I'l appreciate it. BTW, I tried 'ZipPOP', too, but it didn't
make surbbdirectories, it made files with the entire pathname.
