Greg: When you say: <<Use the highest resolution that the printer
supports for pixel by pixel output for the best quality.>> In your
case you probably go to one of your inhouse printers but if I am
handing over one huge file that will become an 11 X 14 color print,
is there a favorite resolution that I should use ?

Yes, the one that allows for pixel by pixel printing! Depends on the printer,
if you go too low, the image gets fuzzy, if you go too high, you are dealing
with too large a file, taking longer to render and process, and, depending on
the software, may not look as good as one that prints with no interpolation!
The bottom line is to find out the maximum resolution of the printer and use
that!
