Is there a way to use a dxf of a cleaned up site plan as a platform to
add primitives in the 3d editor to create rough study models? What I want to
do is provide design input but future views. I've brought flat text into the
editor
before but the size of some site plans just bogs dwn my attempt. I think I'm
exposing my position on the learning curve. Thanks, Gary

Yes, a DXF of a site plan is a great place to start study models! If you are
using AutoCAD, you'll want something like QuickSurf to do reduction of the
model to make the size manageable.
