I downloaded a .3dd file from the "3dr2 /3d concepts portion of the Autodesk
retail section of the autodesk forum. Does anyone have any ideas how I can
convert this file to a DXF or 3DS?

.3DD files are the propietary format for Autodesk 3D Concepts. Other than the
3D Concepts program itself, I don't know of anything that will read and/or
convert these files. However, my experience with these files is limited. You
might want to ask back in the ARETAIL forum if any conversion routines exist,
or if the original uploader would convert his file to DXF for you.
