I've tried the Set040 program on my A4000/040 and it seems to do the job well but I've also got an A4000/030, does anyone know of a similar program to mapp the ROM for this processor? Thanks, Greg

Greg, I use the CPU command (in the C: directory) on my accellerated A1200. This has a FASTROM option. I believe you require an MMU for this option to work though. Hope this helps. Nev ( It takeS AGA to be this good ) 31-Mar-94 at 21:36:03

Thanks for the advice, but I believe that the CPU used in the A4000/030 does not have an MMU. Greg

Greg, have yoy tried to mapp the Workbench 1.3 (ROM -version ???)-ROM in your A4000/040 ? Does all works well, p.e. older software that do not run in 3.0 ? Thanks in advance. Juan

Juan: Thanks for your reply but I didn't really understand. You spoke about mapping the workbench 1.3 on my A4000/040. The "Set040" program seems to map the ROM well enough but it is ROM mapping on the A4000/030 that would be useful. As I don't think the 030 CPU in the A4000 has an MMU I don't know if it is possible. Thanks again, Greg
