To all tech types,
I need advice regarding connections between a PC and an Amiga SCSI ports or
controllers. I have a Vortex Golden Gate 386sx 25Mhz bridgeboard in my A2000
w/ Vector 030 SCSI combo board. I have recently purchased a Sound Blaster with
SCSI CD-ROM controller in hopes of connecting it to my external CD-ROM but have
as yet been unable to figure the best solution to getting from the internal
SoundBlaster connection to an external cable. If it is possible to simply
connect the Sound Blaster SCSI connector to the internal connection on my Amiga
SCSI controller all I would need is the ribbon cable which I can find
everywhere.
Until I get the money for a faster (probably internal) CD-ROM I would like
to share the one I have between the Amiga and the Bridgeboard, preferably
without having to turn off the computer and switch cables. Any info you can
give me will be appreciated, thanks.
