Are you using an a500/2000 3.1 ROM and if so, does this also happen if you boot off on an original disk? Also what other hardware is installed in your machine (processors, memory etc).

I found the problem, it was some programs I had in WBStartup, that was causing all the head aches. Some of the older stuff doesn't like 3.1.
