Old DOS

I have a 3000 with the new dos. I have a software package X-Press Executive.
It collects news from a cable service line via an info cipher modem. The
software ran on the old dos but when I recently installed it on the 3000 it
acted very flaky. The basic operations wer ok but when I try to access disks to
save stories from the wire it crashes cometimes and sometimes sends a guru
notice of "recoverable error. Some times it takes forever to put up a save
dialog box. Could this be an old/new dos problem? Is there any way to resolve
this short of new(old) chips? Does anyone have software to emulate old dos?
Any other thoughts? Is there new X-press software for amiga?
There is no new X-Press software for the Amiga. I've got it running on a 2.0
equipped CDTV; aside from making sure I wasn't using overscan, I don't
remember having to do anything special to get it to run.
It sounds like something is corrupting ram; you might try using the
development tool 'Enforcer' and see if you can track down what's going on.
