You should have Xon/Xoff turned off and RTS/CTS turned on (deselected and
selected, respectively) in your Amiga Prefs for either program to work reliably
with a 14.4k modem and you must have the proper serial cable. I think this
means you have to have all seven wires connected but I don't remember the
number for sure…I am certain that someone else will jump in here any second
and correct me if I'm wrong.
Additionally, you should have RTS/CTS selected and autobaud disabled in JRComm.
