I just bought an SX-1 expansion unit for my CD32. However there was no warranty card or serial number enclosed. The company that makes the unit has a disconnected phone. My problem now is that after running the unit it kicks out the whole system after 45 minutes or so. Disconnecting the unit from the CD32 allows me to run the CD32 but not the unit until I let it cool down for an hour or so. Is it a weak power supply? I have a keyboard, mouse and an A1000 floppy attached to the SX-1. Thanks for any info.

Do you also have a hard disk in your SX-1? If so.. you are definately pushing the CD32 power supply over the limit. In fact, depending on the floppy drive you could well be over the limit without a hard disk! There is another company now making SX-1. I can't think of their name. It is owned by Steve Zipp. -mark= Otto Pilot Engaged..
