Can anyone upload, or tell me where to get a copy of a bootable IBM DOS disk so
that i can get Cross-Dos to boot up? I have several IBM-DOS disks, but they are
high density and i need a 720k disk for my floppy drive.
I really want to get it up and running so that i can access several IBM disks
that i have come across.

First off, unless you have high density drive for your Amiga (1.76MB on the
Amiga, 1.44MB on the IBM), you won't be able to use your high density IBM-DOS
disks. I am speculating that your floppy drive is low density since you
mentioned you need a 720k floppy to boot from.
To make an IBM boot disk, you can do the following on an IBM PC:
If you have a blank 720k IBM formatted floppy, just enter the command
SYS A: from a comand prompt (DOS).
If you have a 720k disk which is not an IBM format, from the command line enter
FORMAT A: /S /F:720. This will format the disk low density and copy the system
file onto the disk in order for a boot.
The files placed on the disk for booting are IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS, and
COMMAND.COM. I'm not sure if you can just copy these files onto a disk. They
need be in the boot sector. The easiest way is just to find an IBM PC an 'SYS'
the disk. Good Luck!

Ah…you don't need a boot disk to get CrossDOS to work. CrossDOS
simply allows you to read/write MS-DOS formatted diskettes….not to boot
and/or run MS-DOS on your Amiga.
You can format 720K drives on your Amiga via CrossDOS and you can do
likewise on your IBM.
