Hey! I just loaded this baby and WOW! what a great time saver it is. I found one bug in the program and also have a suggestion for the next upgrade of it. Bug: When viewing the animation and stopping on a motion frame it appears that the selection of either field 1 or 2 has no effect. I still see both fields. (as indicated by the strobing of the images. This feature works in the PAR.exe. Wish list item. Some means to quickly move to various parts of the animation. PARCTL requires that I play at normal speed each time to get there. A Scrub bar would be nice. In the PAR.exe we can click and hold the >> or << for a slomo forward or reverse. This feature is not present in the PARCTL_i.PXP. I could wish for more but that's it for now. A really great first shot at this. Can't wait to try the PAROUT on my network. Congratulations to you and Gus for a great tool for all.

Don: >> Hey! I just loaded this baby and WOW! what a great time saver it is. I'm glad you like the PAR IPAS routines! >> Bug: When viewing the animation and stopping on a motion frame it appears >> that the selection of either field 1 or 2 has no effect. Naaaaa! <g> There are no buttons for viewing a frame with or without fields, the button you are referring to in in the file output section of the control panel, which determines how the files are output to disk, either in full-frame, or field 1 or field 2. However, I see that the documentation can be misleading in this regard, I'll have it changed! Thanks! Is this something you would like to add in the next version? Shouldn't be too difficult (right, Gus? – it's easy for me to say!) >> Wish list item. Some means to quickly move to various parts of the >> animation. I really appreciate this type of comment from all our users, but knowing your engineering background, and how particular you are, this is extra special! Greg Pyros

If this is the way the file would be ported to disk, eg. field 1 or 2 or frame. then a WYSIWYG would be nice. In PAR.exe this works as WYSIWYG. As far as I'm concerned this is not a big priority, though. I vote to let GUS decide whether it's easy enough to implement in future upgrades. You should get a concensus from other users. Scrub bar would be more useful if time is to be spent.

Hi Greg, How's it going?? Where can I find the above IPAS routine? I'd love to play with it! Thanks, Andy Roberts BITS Corp.
