We're talking serial digital I/O- type D2?? this would be quite
wonderful if so. We're looking at adopting the Panasonic D3 unit as our
digital layering machine, which has serial I/O in the D2 format.
Also, Ampex will be introducing a component digital suite of boxes for
their DCT format, which I am told will have D2 spigots on it.
