Scott, as Jonas said, automatic IK is a LOT more effective and controllable than interactive mode, but interactive mode can still be useful…tip: select AWAY from joints you want to rotate. Also, remember how to get to Carnegie Hall…:) Regards, Connie

I'm working on a 3 minute animation with a fully articulated (well, fairly-fully-articulated) character, and I've used Interactive for almost all his movements. They haven't needed to be very precise. Which is a good thing, as has been mentioned. I'm going to take a look at the example IK file Jonas mentioned, and then go straight to Carnegie Hall.
