I need some help identifing what to look for regarding an a/v router. We have
enough stuff now that PP (personal patching) is getting too painfull. We have
the following:
1 betacam
1 VHA
1 Hi-8
2 NTCS monitors (one for each of us).
There are two of us and we are connected to the betacam via S-video. We would
like to be able to push-button select which of us talks to the betacam (s-video
only, not the RS-422). We also would like to be able to direct the other
equipment as well, insofar as dubbing and such. I think a 4×4
s-video/composite a/v matric switcher is waht we are after, but I'm not
certain. Will this really do the trick? We don't have tons of monet to spend
on this either.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
