Buy LenZFX from Digimation. <BG>
You might want to experiment with materials that are 100% transparent
and have specular light the color of the flare you wish to create.
Take this material and apply it to a sphere and depending on where
you have the light placed this will create glowing/flare type effects.
Not as pretty or realistic as LenZ but certainly less expensive.
Download 3DS2-B.zip from the NAAUG library. This file shows many
examples of how to create simulated glowing effects withour IPAS.

Welp, I purchased LenZFX and its great! I hate the dongle protection!!! Can't
they do away with the dongle and just work with your serial # from 3ds? I
guess your not the person I should be telling this to, but hey… (smile)
