I'd like to thank Chris Erving and Dave Haynie for their contributions regarding the internal memory expansion for the Amiga. It works great! I now have a 1 MEG Amiga running all my favorite programs, including a 559K spreadsheet in VIP Profressional. There were no complications in building the memory, as the instructions and schematics were very good. There is however, a slight error in Dave's instructions. In paragraph 13 it reads "Connect pin 10 of this chip back to the 'F10 at pin 13.". It should read: "Connect pin 10 of this chip back to the 'F10 at pin 12.". (The schematic is correct) And also, clip pin 13 of the 'F02 when you clip pins 10, 11, and 12. If you plan to build this memory, here's a tip: Solder all the sockets to the Amiga mother board first, then power the computer up to check that none of the RAM chips were damaged. This could speed up debiugging if it doesn't work when you're done.
