Me too,
I'm a bit afraid of buying stuff as the PCMCIA stuff is not build on the usual
chips and you must always buy a card that uses the normal socket services
instead of getting to the hardware directly. I think there is a compatibility
list somewhere in a CIS HP forum library… I personaly would always go for the
Robotics stuff as it has worked very very reliable during the past 5 years…
U.S. Robotics is definitely one of the majors. Also, there's a list (called
ACELST.ANN) of PCMCIA stuff available from one company in the HPHAND library.
Is that what you meant by a compatibility list?
