Thank you for the info. I still have my 2.x KickStart file in my Devs: dir.
Can this file be used or do I need the 2.04 ROM's and the GrabKick program? I
was trying to avoid having to buy the 2.04 ROM's. I tried the command "SetCPU
kickfile <path to the rom image>" as follows:
– SetCPU SYSTEM3.1:Devs/kickstart , there is no command 'SetCPU' – SET CPU
SYSTEM3.1:Devs/kickstart, the command executed but there was no
restart and the shell prompt returned.
According to the CPU command description there is no 'kickfile' modifier; am I
missing something.

SetCpu is a program by Dave Haynie similiar to the CPU command in your c:
directory, it is in AmigaTech as SetCpu.lzh. I do not know if it will work
with the 3000s softrom or not (seems like it should). Your syntax seemes
correct. Good luck!
