All, I have been trying to install soom LucasArts games on my hard drive without much luck. The games are: Loom, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, Maniac Mansion, and Zak McKracken. The problem is that they are all supposed to be hard drive installable but the instructions tell you to drag and drop the program icon and a "Rooms" icon from the first disk onto the new drawer on your hard drive and then to drag the "Rooms" icon from the other disks onto the same new drawer. With all of the "Rooms" icons called the same thing the system won't copy the files and there are no instructions telling you whether to rename the other "Rooms" to something else or to make some assigns or to do something else. If anyone has these successfully installed these on thier hard drive I would appreciate any info about the installation. Thanks, Pete. / / Flying the A3000 on AutoPilot 1.77 \/\/ from Durham,Ontario.

Hi Pete, >With all of the "Rooms" icons called the same thing the system won't copy the files< With FILES the system asks if you want to overwrite the existing files, but how do you want to overwrite a drawer? It would be unlogical, because the contens of the drawer would be lost. $^) What you need to do, you need to 'open' the ROOM drawer of the floppy disk, be shure that you have 'show all files' selected in the WB-Menu, select all files (this is a WB-Menu option), hold the shift-key and then drag all the files in one go to the ROOM drawer on your HD. When you have done this, all files from the "Rooms" of your different floppy disks are in the ONE "Rooms" drawer of your Hard Disk. with AutoPilot from Germany -yours truly * Derek *
