Rock Clubs On-Line

Hi Doug,
Regarding listing E-mail addresses on club rosters, would you recommend a
separate listing of all those members that are "on line"? Or should the E-mail
address be placed right along with the members snail mail address? The
Fluorescent Mineral Society's '95 Roster will be coming out in the July/Aug
U.V.Waves. So now is the time to clarify this.

Hi, Rod–
Listing the E-address in the club roster with the person's snailmail address
would alert someone seeking that specific person to an alternate route.
Listing the E-addresses in a separate list lets someone looking for online
contacts find them more easily, and makes others more aware there is someone to
talk to if they get on-line.
I do not know which is best; I am slightly inclined to list both addresses in
one entry. At some point I will want to run an article updating people on the
rockhound corners in cyberspace (this might want to wait until preparation for
Tucson '86 is complete), and adding a list of E-addresses would seem
appropriate then. It would also pick up any new additions between the roster
and then.
