I have had dts 4.0c on my computer and my assistant's computer. the new version does not allow us to share data files, so we bought a new license. But when I tried to install the new disks on her computer, the program would only allow me to "update", which kept my original registrations number. the whole purpose of buying the second license is to get a new number so that we can share without problems. I then eliminated dts from her computer and tried a fresh install, but it still took my old registration number and did not allow me to put the new one in. Once we get that settled, I will update to 4.1b and then patch it.

Arthur, You should have deleted DTS form her computer before installing. You will need to send us her install disks for replacement, your serial number was copied to them during the update. Send us her new install disks, a self addressed diskette mailer, and 2 new formatted high density disks with a brif explantion if the problem. Dean Okna Tech Support
