I have encountered problem in importing files from Daytimer AddPhone 3.0 to
Address Book directory in DTS 4.1b. AddPhone supports Comma Delimited, Tab
Delimited and Fixed Length formats. I cannot import AddPhone files (in comma
delimited format) to DTS because "List Files of Type" menu in Desk Top Set
Import Subsystem dialogue does not list option for converting files formatted
with Comma separated Values (CSV). I have also tried to import AddPhone files
in Tab Delimited format, but with no success. Please help!

Which version of DeskTop Set are you running? In version 4.0 to 4.1a, CSV is
the third option on the list. In 4.1b, it is included with ASCII; however,
there is a bug in 4.1b's import program that hasn't been fixed yet so it won't
import text files.

pending release of DTS patch to resolve import problem?

Reinstall your older version of DeskTop Set and import it from that version.
Once you have the information, you can run the 4.1b install to update again.

My 4.1b imported a comma-delimited text file successfully. It did however
deliver 2 or 3 error messages that looked fatal, but weren't. –BR
