SCANMEM returns a memory range called USEMEM. o That range then needs to be plugged into the QEMM386.SYS's USERAM option in the CONFIG.SYS. Example: DEVICE=C:\QEMM\QEMM386.SYS RAM USERAM=XXXXX-XXXXX From there it works like a champ. I had trouble with Jamie Clay's instructions until I got on the QEMM forum and learned that I had to boot my computer "clean" before I ran SCANMEM. Stefan, Which Asus board do you use. I recently tried the same and never got more than 64 Mb available (memory count saw them, but himem /eisa didn't ).
