Well, I've decided that I have spent far to much time trying to get the
Sportster 28.8 to work. USR can't figure out why it works at all with DTS in
my office. They say it shouldn't! So rather than wait until one day it simply
decides to stop working with DTS, I'm sending both modems back and getting a
Supra 28.8 instead for both the office and home. This model has caller ID,
Flash Rom upgrades, and costs $23 less.
Please let me know what initialization string to use with DTS and what choice
to select from the pull down modem menu selection. I'm using DTS 4.1b.

I would actually check with Supra to see which of the modems that we have
listed is most compatible with the model you are going to purchase. They will
also most likely be able to tell you the init strings for caller ID etc.
