Is there network software that will allow a laptop to see a desktop computer so that both can be rendering at the same time. I've tried Dos6's interlnk but it Ties up one machine full time being server, which sort of defeats the purpose when you only have two machines to play with. I have an old version of commute that came with PCTools but from its instalation instructions it sounds likeit would have the same problem. If I bough more sophisticated software like novell or banyan vines would they work on a two machine setup? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer. Jon Burleson

William, I think what you are looking for is a basic peer to peer network set up like Netware Lite, Lantastic, or Windows for Workgroups. I am not sure how it would connect to the laptop though, you will probably need an adaptor of some sort. -Brian
