#Working at AOL
4 messages in this thread
Well I found out today that I have a new job. America Online has a center
here in Tucson and I have been hired as a Technical Support Rep. I start April
3. They have a month long training program that I hear is very good. An former
co-worker of mine, who now works for AOL, was actually taught a few very
general things about the Amiga. We had a short discussion and he was actually
able to discuss Amiga issues with some intelligence, all based on his AOL
training. This is interesting since AOL does not have Amiga interface software
available.
Anyway, I still plan to hang out here. I just won't be able to tolerate any
AOL jokes…

Why would I make jokes about AOL? They are my main supplier of floppy disks.

You might have a small problem, though, Michael, since AOL and LOL are so close
together.

Congratulations on the job, Michael. And good luck with AOL.
