I have talked to the DPS people and they seem to be haveing problems.
They told me that the new release date is April for NAB. I am not sure
they will make it (they have delayed three times already). I do know that
Razor Pro with the TransJammer plugins is really cool but takes 32 MB
of RAM to run (ouch). Anyway Adobe is really cool but after writting
messages to Nick Scholt (Project leader for Premiere) unless something
special happens there will be no direct support of the Par board.. The
way it will work is you will have to convert the ANI files to mini avi's.
With these AVI's you edit. When you make movie it will take and
convert all into into a new ANI. I do not know if it can support external
files from the PAR or if all the files have to exist on the PAR board..
With this last stuff in mind I think I walk around the Razor Pro land
mines for a while and continue to edit.
