Hi, I am trying to use Spurt.AXP for the flames coming out of a rocket engine on a spaceship. Even though I have acheived an adequate look, I was wondering if anybody knows the right set of parameters/technique to realize a highly realistic look? ALEX IMBASTARI PIXELathe

For highly realistic flames you may just want to try flame.axp on disk #6. I think it would work much better for you. Good luck with spurt though, if you don't have flame. Also, you may try using glow.ixp on your spurt particles to blend and soften the result. DM

After you're experimented with spurt to get the right kind of spurting effect, you could apply a glow to the particles (with glow.izp or lenzfx.ixp) to merge them together into a big chaotic glowing mass. – G

Hi there I've found Comet_i.axp works well for space ship exhaust. Also Vapor_i.axp is great for this effect too. Mike White [SDP]
