Well, can you stand one final message on the status of the Amiga manuals? I
placed yet another call to Addison-Wesley today and got to talk to someone
"upstairs". Here's the poop… there used to be pre-publication copies of
the documentation available, but they're all sold out. A/W decided not to
reprint them since the publication date of the regular editions was so close.
However, A/W says that Commodore was late in getting the material to them.
So-o-o-o-o…the hardware manuals will be out next month and the ROM Kernel
manual won't be available until June. Those of us who don't have manuals are
in deep trouble. There is no way to get any until A/W publishes without
paying $450 for the development kit (which has a 6 – 8 week lead time anyway)
