EA has the best software for the Amiga so far?? Well, I'd reword that to say they have the best SINGLE piece of software, being of course DPaint. The rest of it? Mainly C64/Apple rehases with nice sound effects. Where's marble madness? the new Pinball Const Set? Where's Deluxe Music, Deluxe Video Deluxe Print, etc etc. I've been looking at those "screen shots" on my EA Demo disk since last october. They'd sell a ton of marble madness protection or not, if the translation from Arcade to Amiga was as good as they promised in their Early Amiga ads simply cuz MM is an outrageously incredible game. But… where's the beef, EA? So far you've delivered ONE incredible piece of software (DP) , a couple of nice ones, and some real doggies. I don't have a hard disk, and until the prices come down drastically I can't even consider the purchase of one as anything but a fantasy… but I RESENT having bizarre things done to my INTERNAL (read= expensive to fix) disk drive, and I REALLY resent the accidental write-to-protected disk being capable of trashing my $80 paint program! I've got Marauder, and I've got a bunch of DPaints (of my own, not for handouts), and my original DPaint stays, like a virgin, in its package.
