haven't seen much talk about ami-midi-synth stuff so…
CHERRY LANE was supposed to produce some midi products but decided to
drop the whole line.i called them.something about "concentration of
distribution facilities." Roger Powell,the guy doin the work,started a
new company: MAGNETIC MUSIC. their present product is TEXTURE for ibm
and ap//e, a midi sequencer/editor. TEXTURE for the amiga is expected
out may/june:similar to ibm vers.2.0,cost $350.also a ROLANDS mpu-401
interface card,$120,to go with it. other near term projects:a YAMAHA
dx7 voice editor/librarian,TEXTURE LIVE!, and some general utilities
type stuff….stay tuned…
