Scribble! by MSS

David: I have to disagree with you on almost every point you made. I beta-tested Scribble! for MSS and have found it to be a very good word-processor. (I have extensive experience in the word-processing field including many hours of instruction.) Now I can't say anything about the 'virtual' file-handling capabilities since the preliminary docs I have say nothing about it at all. I suspect that you may have been talking to an uninformed receptionist or salesperson. Go to the source and talk to Steve or Mark and they will be straight with you. The 'dot' commands give Scribble! a flexibility that Textcraft and some other word-processors don't have. And yes, I know the NLQ PRT command by heart, as should anyone who is into text or printer manipulation on the Amiga. I have never had any problems with loading large textfiles into Scribble! and it has never screwed up for me. I would suggest re-reading the documentation or having your computer or drives checked out. SCRIBBLE! (which retails for $99 and is discounted most places) is my preferred WP for now. No one says it is perfect (the closest to perfection is PaperBack Writer 128 for the C-128PC) but it is the best and is real and here. I would recommend it to anyone who is tired of TextCraft's theatrics. Mark Weddell New Age Electronics CIS 74726,313 Delphi: MBW
