I have been considering getting the Aegis images and animator packages and I'd like to ask some questions of anyone who already has it. I'm basing this on the only thing I remember seeing about it, the What's New section of the February Byte had a full page devoted to it. Is it true that it only does 640 and 320 x 200, it won't do 400 lines vertical resolution? Second can you use Images to create objects that can then be animated with the animator or does the animator have its own drawing stuff? Related to this, can an object be captured/lifted without any of its background, similar to the lasso effect on the macintosh, as compared to a rectangular framing of the object which would bring unwanted background with it. What this is leading up to is, can I take some of the IFF pictures that are floating around, say some of the digitized ones, and grab an object out of it and use it in images and animator? Also Byte said that images was being bundled with animator, is this still true or are they being sold separately now? Thanks to anyone who can provide some info. Gary Sarff
