James: Being fairly well versed in the subject, I can give you a realistic answer only if I know what you are using as your external drive system. In most cases the external floppies will not affect bus loading. Power supply may be a problem, but if you are not running GenLock you gain back over an amp that can be used to drive other devices. The Stabroard II draws about 1/2 an amp and should work very well. It passes the expansion port, is additionally internally expandable, uses many CMOS parts and is priced attractively. It would be my choice. Too bad you want two MEGs, our company makes a very nice one MEG Board, but the customer <sigh> is always right! E.J. Lippert II C Ltd. – (316) 267-6322
