Steven – that's the kind of advice you might try your dealer for. If you don't have a dealer (or you are a dealer, like me), you might try talking to manufacturers and distributors. Your budget might turn out to be a little tight, but I think its worth a shot. I too prefer the 15" monitors over a 19" with the same number of lines. I've got a Mitsubishi that's been relabeled by Verticom, the manufacturer of one of my high-end cards. Mitsubishi has a very broad line of monitors, including multiscan types. Also check out the ones from Tatung, NEC, and Sony. Tell us more about what kind of graphics card you are looking for. Do you need lots of colors, display list processing, windowing? The more features you "need", the harder it will be to meet your budget with reliable equipment. Also, do you need to have the Advanced User Interface features of Release 9? .. You won't save a tremendous amount by going with a 15" rather than a 19" monitor. Have you considered a 19? If so, take a look at the Mitsubishi HJ6905 with a Verticom H16B with Twin Focus or one of the Artist xxGT series. They're just about the best I've seen on the market.
