The problem you're experiencing is related to the start-up sequence
internal to the Orchid ProDesigner II/MC. Call Orchid to see how you can
get an upgrade to one that works in both an IBM PS/2 Model 90 or Model 95.
Orchid's number is 510-683-0300. If they can't help you, I'd suggest
returning the board, and getting a similar product from STB which
reportedly does function properly in a Model 95, or get another IBM XGA –
they sell for only $795 retail nowadays, probably less if you have a good
relationship with your local dealer.
