Randy, if there is an error in a DXF file, more than one line may need to be deleted. Or, instead of deleting the line(s), it may be possible to simply modify them with a text editor. The file needs to be examined in that area to ensure that it conforms to the DXF format rules. If Cadvance is putting entities in the file that are unknown to AutoCAD, then it's not a true DXF file – that would be a bug in their DXF output routine. It's also important to note which version of AutoCAD the user is doing the DXFIN with. I've seen several programs that can capture AutoCAD screens (in any color), but I'm not knowledgeable about getting these images into Pagemaker. Perhaps someone else will have some info on this. =SM=
