I tried the technique of running a cable from my interface's MIDI out to the
MIDI in. I set SS to play samples and receive from the MIDI in. KCS was set
to output (play only). It worked! (At least partially). My SS master disk seems
to have trashed itself, so I can't be sure about file compatibility, but SS was
able to play the KCS output with the AMiga's sounds. I'm not positive about the speed
speed though. (Since both programs are running at once, the demands of multi-
tasking might introduce delays in the MIDI clock speeds). I'll investigate
further and let you know. Of course this will all be moot when the updated KCS
comes out and supports Amiga voices (Dr. T's said two months). Although this
technique still might be useful for transfering sequences….
