Glad to know that the FFS will work with my setup. But will have a hard time
waiting for Commodore to officially release it 🙂 I guess I'm going to have
to get busy learning C so I can get a developer ' status and get all those
neat goodies from CBM ahead of time. Oh well, I might be able to wait a
couple of months. Well if the defect list is on the drive, then I will have
to open the case, which will void the warranty. Don't think I want to take
the chance right now, since repair of a HD is probably not cheap. So think I
will wait for awhile before digging into it. Well guess I had better get off
CI$, since its telling me its going to go down in 5 minutes anyway. Thanks

no no no no no no no…….you don't have to open the case to get to
the defect list. there should be no -repeat- no warranty stickers that you
have to bypass to get to the defect list.
