I finally broke down and brought a 2400 baud modem and now the question is, how do I access CIS at 2400 ? I live in the Washington D.C. area and use a CIS direct number currently.

Donald, type GO PHONES from any CIS prompt – you can then search by area codes for 2400 baud lines. Marlene

Don, In noticed that the closest 2400 baud number is in Fairfax, VA. The number is (703) 591-0506. Sid
