We have recently installed Chase Systems Acad Partner, and we have n noticed an error message FATAL ERROR LTINIT2… what does this mean? if anyone is familiar with Chase Products please call me (PHILIP) collect at (318) 477-2769 after 5:00 p.m. Sunday the 17th or Monday the 18th. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated….Thanks.

Chester, does the "Fatal error LTINIT2" message only occur with one drawing or several or all? There is apparently a problem reading a linetype table in the drawing file. The drawing file or ACAD.LIN may be damaged or corrupted, or possibly the prototype drawing has a problem in this area. =SM=

Steve, apparently we made some small error in the installation procedure. Our local dealer was able to solve the problem. It seems that the CEMM driver (provided with the Compaq 386) was causing the prob. The driver allows the 386's extended mem. to work as expanded, we assume that created some conflict with the ACAD method of accessing extended mem. By the way, with Chase Systems working properly…. we love it! It's just what we needed. Thanks for the help! -Chester-
